Chihuahua Rescues

Chihuahua rescues will usually provide a picture of any available dogs within their rescues. These dogs should not be trusted with larger dogs, much because they are reckless in defending their loved ones and territory and may attack much larger animals. They are usually reserved with strangers and can be difficult to housetrain. However, patient and consistent training will be helpful in overcoming these difficulties. These dogs are not recommended for small or poorly behaved children, because they are very sensitive to injuries. A head injury can be mortally dangerous for puppies or dogs with unclosed moleras. The dogs are not usually adopted on a first come, first serve basis, because it takes much time to evaluate the dog, approve the prospective adoptive family and find the most suited dog. All adoptive animals should be spayed or neutered prior to adoption. Sometimes the dogs are taken from the owners who neglect and abuse them. In such cases the dogs need rehabilitation and special care in foster families. They are assessed and if the dog shows signs of aggression, it cannot be adopted. Chihuahua rescues will usually provide a picture of any available dogs within their rescues.
