Chihuahuas - Breeders - How to Choose a Responsible Breeder

• Trust your feelings. In case a breeder does not inspire confidence in you, you'd better take to a different place.
• What do the puppies you are offered look like? Does their appearance correspond with your idea of a nice Chihuahua?
• Feel free to ask about activities a breeder is involved into. If his/her dogs take part in competitions, shows, etc., and perhaps even make great champions you have a good chance of getting a puppy you dreamt of.
• The reputation a breeder enjoys is likely to indicate the quality of your would-be Chihuahua.
• It's a good sign when a breeder supplies you with some information on how to feed the Chihuahua, take care of its coat and all sorts of tips vital to your future dog's health and development.
• Always keep in mind that haste makes waste. Never purchase the first puppy you see even if it's the most wonderful thing on earth. Be careful in purchasing Chihuahuas.
